Description

Great Barrier Reef Full-Day Cruise: Cruise to the Outer Great Barrier Reef from Cairns. Climb aboard a state-of-the-art vessel and explore two of the most beautiful reef spots in the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy 5 hours at two reef sites and explore this amazing natural wonder up close snorkelling! There is an option to dial up the adventure and add a scuba dive or helicopter flight (extra, add directly with reservations before travel). Enjoy a delicious lunch (special dietaries catered for, speak with reservations) and a complimentary glass of wine, cheese and biscuits on the journey home! Daintree Rainforest Full-Day Tour: 4WD adventure discovering the amazing biodiversity of the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation! Drive north along the scenic route to the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. Observe the oldest rainforest in the world, walk along elevated boardwalks on a guided nature walk with your passionate, local guide and cruise through the World Heritage-listed Daintree River spotting crocodiles and other wildlife in the wild. Enjoy lunch and cool down with a refreshing swim in the heart of the rainforest. Stroll along the famous Cape Tribulation Beach and take a leisurely afternoon walk up to the Cape Tribulation Beach lookout. Then, on the way home, you are treated to a local homemade Daintree ice cream (included) before we journey back home. Outback/Chillagoe Full Day Tour: It's then time to explore the Aussie Outback by 4WD vehicle with a naturalist guide who has extensive knowledge of flora, fauna, the area's history and aboriginal culture. Enjoy morning tea at Skybury Coffee Plantation then, travel through historical towns and rolling hills rich in minerals around Chillagoe. Experience a guided walk through the Chillagoe Mungana Caves National Park on a full caving experience with a local ranger! Millions of years in the making, the limestone formations are nothing short of spectacular. Your guide will delve into the history of the copper smelters, whose old chimneys dominate the western horizon, and experience Aboriginal Rock Art and the Balancing Rock. Enjoy an Aussie pub lunch before stopping at Granite Gorge Nature Park on the way home to see the rock wallabies.
